Looking for version <2.2.1 Can somebody share the binary for this freeware. You can even force the laptop to use integrated graphics when you're trying to conserve battery power. Automatic application updating - checks for, downloads and installs new versions of gfxCardStatus automatically!.Tiny footprint - doesn't sit in your menu bar and hog RAM or CPU cycles.Growl support - so you know right when the GPU switches Is this intentional I have gfxcardstatus installed so I can manually chose which graphics card I want.Or any site which has all versions of mac software.(something like. Note that as of version 1.7 (now at 1.7.5) gfxCardStatus now includes full support for the 9400M/9600M GT dual-GPU enabled Macs without logging out. gfxCardStatus is an unobtrusive menu bar app for OS X that allows MacBook Pro users to see which apps are affecting their battery life by using the more power-hungry graphics. I've tested this on my late 2008 MBP 15-incher and it works perfectly.Hi, I'm interested to know if anyone else is getting heat issues with 4.32 on a Mac Book Pro? ich habe mit der Version 2.2.x vom gfcCardStatus Probleme und müsste auf Version 2.1.x downgraden. When Reaper 4.32 is loaded with or without active project and the Mac goes into sleep mode the graphics temp climbs from 60c to 90c+. After some investigation I discovered that 4.32 causes the Mac to switch to the Nvidea graphics card and its this gpu that is the source of the heat. Good program, but options should not be called Integrated and Discrete. This behaviour of switching graphic cards does not seem to happen with Reaper 4.31 (it uses the Intel HD Graphics) and when in sleep mode the temperature drops to 40c, which I would expect as the computer is basically doing nothing. It´s confusing for the average user: What improves my battery time again: 'I' or 'D' Why not simply call them More Battery and More Power Also, automatic switching seem glitchy. In the meantime I've reluctantly downgraded Reaper to 4.31 gfxCardStatus is a free menu bar application that keeps track of which graphics card your MacBook Pro is using at any given time. Features: Simple, clean 'i' and 'n' icons that signify Intel HD Graphics, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics, respectively. Automatically updates when the GPU switches, in real time. I've done a clean install of Mavericks, and it didn't fix it. But then again, If I found out I screwed up in my work, I'd try to fix it, despite of how long later the damage showed up.Īnyway, here are the specs of the computer and the crash log. I understand they were clear about the rules of the recall. But my computer is older than 3 years, so Apple won't take it. I've read about the GPU recall for the Mid-2010 Macbook Pro. I come back, it wakes up for about 5 seconds and has a GPU Panic and reboots. I use my computer without any problems, leave, it goes to sleep. Since upgrading to Mavericks here is what happens:
